Position Summary:
The Director of Education Services is responsible for education services at MultiCare Health System. Responsibilities are to: align the Education Plan with the organization’s performance goals; to apply sound education principles for the ongoing assessment, design, implementation, and evaluation of learning systems and educational activities; to develop individual and organizational capability to learn, and to show the value of education and employee performance. The scope of the job includes operational oversight for the Medical Library, Graduate Medical Education, Wagner Simulation Center, Education Services and Instructional Design and Clinical Education including physician, nursing, and ancillary and employee curriculums. This senior management position directs the efforts of education managers and the interdisciplinary education team. Internally, consults with all levels of staff, management, medical staff and executives. Externally, has frequent contact with organizations, schools, vendors, and agencies providing community based educational programs. Establishes and maintains internal, local and national professional networks.

Minimum Requirements:
Seven years of management experience.
Three years combined experience in education, performance improvement, quality assurance.

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Master’s degree in related field.
